Zoe A. Belcher, LG, LEP
Zoe A Belcher, LG, LEP, and President/Member of BGTEnvironmental is the brains and the brawn behind the company. Originally from New York, Zoe moved to Connecticut in 2000. She graduated from Radford University in 2001 with a Bachelors of Science in Geology with a Specialty in Engineering and a Masters of Science in Environmental and Engineering Geosciences.
Zoe worked for a large environmental firm in Connecticut for fifteen years before starting her own company in 2016. During her tenure, Zoe became the first Registered Brownfield’s Professional in CT, a Licensed Environmental Professional and a Licensed Geologist in the State of Washington.
A resident in Moodus, Zoe lives with her Husband, Matt, and two children, Anastasia and Silas. In her free time, Zoe can be found tending to her delicious garden veggies and spending time with her family.

Brian McCann, PG, LEP
Brian McCann, PG, LEP serves as our Senior Project Manager and second LEP. Brian has over 17 years in the environmental consulting business. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Earth Science and a minor in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Eastern Connecticut State University.
Juliana Gorski
Juliana Gorski is a Senior Project Engineer and has over 8 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. Juliana holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering both from University of Connecticut. Juliana has a Graduate Certificate from the University of Connecticut in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Juliana passed her Fundamental of Engineering (FE) exam in 2018 and is preparing to take her Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam.
Joshua A. Cope
Joshua A. Cope is a Project Geologist/GIS Specialist and has over 4 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. Joshua is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science with a degree in Environmental Earth Science.
Maegan Y. Sherman
Maegan Y. Sherman is a Project Geologist and has over 4 years of experience in the environmental industry. Maegan holds a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and a Minor in Environmental Science from Roanoke College and a Master's Degree in Environmental Science from Southern Connecticut State University.

Our experienced staff with over 25 years of experience offer Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) Services including site due diligence for property transactions (Phase I, Phase II), Brownfield coordination and redevelopment services, Transfer Act Program support, site characterization, remediation, and GIS mapping solutions. Specialty services also include commercial property condition assessments, LEAN construction consulting, and small/specialty project construction.
